Amanda Hall says she has always been in church, ever since she was baby. Raised as a Baptist, she joined Scottsville Presbyterian in 1952 when she married her husband Conrad. They decided as a new family they would attend the same church together and settled on Scottsville Presbyterian. Here they raised their three children, Kathy, Steve, and Ann. When asked why she attends Scottsville Presbyterian, Amanda says:
“Going to church has always been a part of my life. If I miss church, the week does not seem right. What I love about Scottsville Presbyterian is the closeness we have with each other. Church members are very conscious of when someone is in need and they’re always there for you. This has been true for me when I’ve had surgery and when I lost my sister and brother within a month of each other two years ago. It’s become a family for me. I also love our quiet and reverent style of worship”
